Ladies Ministry

And the King will answer and say to them: “Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, YOU DID IT TO ME.”

Matthew 25:40

The S.O.W. (Strangers, Orphans, and Widows) Ministry at Centro Cristiano Hosanna endeavors to create an atmosphere where women can develop and realize their spiritual maturity. They are developing their leadership skills and learning to minister in the local church, their community and having compassion for the unsaved in a lost world.

The Bible says he “was moved with compassion” Matthew 9:36. “But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.” Christ could see each hurting soul and he genuinely cared about them. Our Lord showed his compassion with His actions. When we develop compassion in our lives we can’t help but show it through the seeds of love that we begin to sow in the lives of others.

If you are interested in being part of our ministry or serving in our ministry, come join us as we experience God, enjoy fellowship and relationships, encourage accountability, and multiply the infinite Grace of God

Mission Statement

The mission of Hearts of Compassion (S.O.W. Ministry) is to touch the lives of the unsaved by the transforming power of Jesus Christ, to make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that Jesus Christ has commanded us.

Our Purpose

Compassion

But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.

-Matthew 9:36

Times are tough, but God gives comfort, strength, wisdom and blessings. God’s people reflect God’s heart when we love others enough to notice their needs and to help in practical ways. Part of training women to have compassion is by helping them see God’s heart for the poor. In order for us to have compassion we must first immerse ourselves and other members of our church in the wealth of passages that speak of the compassionate heart of God. Since the Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), it stirs us to action. Sermons are another way of training the women on what Scripture says about ministering to the poor and having a heart of compassion.

Growth

As we develop the compassionate heart of God and reach into our community, the amazing miracle of growth occurs. (Personal growth) we provide opportunities for each woman to deepen her faith, develop her spiritual gifts, and become a more effective Virtuous Woman of God. These opportunities are Bible studies; prayer, email devotions, assisting women in discerning and using their spiritual gifts; encouraging and educating women about stewardship of time, talent, encouraging and training women in evangelism and outreach; encouraging women to mentor one another; exploring issues of work-life balance, financial management, health concerns and healthy lifestyles, family and parenting skills, coping with life transitions, caretaking for loved ones. We also encourage growth as a church family — in number, in unity, in service, and in maturity.

Here at Centro Cristiano Hosanna we are called to move beyond the walls of our church building and into our communities to serve because we are Christ’s body, Christ’s physical presence in the world.

Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.
